Downtown Franconia. I wasn’t focusing on the signs when I took this photo but on how close the buildings are to the road where underground lines are proposed. Later I noticed there’s a yellow Northern Pass opposition sign on the bottom right in French and another  yellow “Stop Northern Pass” sign on the left.

Sorry about the blurry photo. I was a passenger while driving on Route 3 in Coos County. I remember this was in Whitefield, New Hampshire, not far from the Grand View Mountain Resort. “Bury The Northern Pass All The Way!” and I can’t read the other sign but it’s orange which is the opposition color. March 2016

Opposition signs a few years ago on Easton Road, Easton, New Hampshire. New opposition signs are at this location today they read, “No Northern Pass on Rte 116” because it’s part of the new underground line route proposal and there are many concerns.

If he could talk I’m sure he’d say “Nay” to Northern Pass. One of the horses at the Franconia Inn barn on Easton Road, Route 116, Franconia, New Hamphshire, a location of the new proposed underground transmission line route.
